
This day is known as ‘Eed Al-Adha. The pilgrim performs Fajr (dawn) prayer in Muzdalifah, then leaves Muzdalifah for Mina shortly before sunrise. In Mina, he should collect seven small pebbles and heads to the largest Jamarah. As he throws each stone at Jamarah, he should say 'Allaahu Akbar' (Allaah is The Greatest). On completion of the rites of stoning, he should clip or shave his head and take off his Ihraam.

Abtah: A place formed after flood, which is usually level and containing no pebbles or stones. The term is given to every place that becomes leveled by a water stream. It is also Al-Abtah, Al-Bat-haa’ and Al-Bat-h. Bat-haa’ refers to a place between Makkah and Mina, which is called as such due to its level wide valley.
